Any tips or tricks on attaching 2 additional 2x6 ft sheets of 3/8 inch plywood to the front existing two 4x8 plywood tables? I have two 4x8 ft tables end to end (4x16) at the moment and I am looking to add the above mentioned plywood to the tables giving me the ability to build something like this very nice layout designed by one one of this forums members. I realize this a pretty basic question, just trying to get some ideas before I start pounding away.5X15_v4a Thanks.....Bill

These are complete tables made of wood with legs? Why are you not going with 2- 2' x 8' extensions to make a 6' x 16'? That plan won't fit if you only add 12' to the front, but maybe that was a typo.

Either way, I would make two frames of the size of the addition you want and then before you screw down the top, screw them to the apron (face) of the existing table at a height that will make them flush when you add the top. Much easier than attaching them with the top on. You will have to add more legs to the front of this table.

Yep I can hardly understand my own question. Yes the tables are complete with legs. I just want to add an additional 2 foot extension running for 6 ft followed by a 2 x4 ft indent (access area) followed by another 2 ft extension running for the remaining 6ft.Your advice is either way to frame them up and add legs. Thanks.....
