There’s a Ford in your future!

We were sick of the limited selection of 1:48 scale vehicles from the 40’s and 50’s, so we created our own molds! Check out these exclusive, beautifully detailed, officially licensed, 1948 and 1951 die-cast Fords!

1951 Ford F1 Trucks (Menards SKU# 279-6300-6305)

1951 Trucks - Not Lighted

Lighted 1951 Ford F1 Trucks (Menards SKU# 279-6294-6296)

1951 Trucks - Lighted

Lighted 1948 Ford Panel Trucks (Menards SKU# 279-6288-6291, 6892-6899)

1948 Trucks - Lighted

In case you miss it, I’ve attached today’s O gauge email. If you’d like to sign up for our promotion and new product announcements, click here.

Thank you,

I already got a bunch of these cars at a Menards store for 2.99 each. I know where I can get more. Got these last week. How did this happen? Here is some proof. Check out my pics. These do look too small compared to a vehicle that is 1/43. However, I tend to believe that these new trucks are 1/48. They almost look too small for the Menards autorack.

It is a Ford add from 1949. The completely re-designed Ford came out and it was a big deal!

When it was shown to be a 1949 ad I actually got excited.  Unfortunately the model is a ‘51 and it is too different from the ‘49 to use on my ‘49 era layout. (Knowledgeable folks like to point out things like that.)

It is nice to see Menards do some more models from the post WWII era.  And 1/48😁

It's a Ford ad from 1946, just after the war.

Read the text of the ad.

Here in California, ordering online, the $4.44 trucks cost a shade over $10 each, with "processing fees", taxes, and shipping.
