That's what I was thinking.
Steve
In 1953 the Ford F-100 was first built. They used something close to that logo from 1953-1956.
They are making a GG1...Ha!
Now it makes complete sense based on what I've read on other's threads! Copying the shipping containers of other manufacturers so that every model arrives like this.
Agree with the 53 Ford Truck.
Ford dealership...

Really, this gets old. Spill the beans for crying out loud. Sometime the hunt is more fun than the catch. If you lather everyone up to a frenzy, and don't knock it out of the park, thud. It better be good, especially considering 2 more days of I'll show you, if you show me mine.
I assume you will be at York, and we will see the semi backed up with the new item that everyone will climb over each other to acquire. Looks a lot like an old morphed Ford emblem.
Personally I don't mind these mind teasers. It's a lot more fun than reading about all the problems people have with their trains. It's especially been true in the last year at least where the forum has become rather dull.
Granted I can't contribute much because my time in the hobby has been greatly limited by career and family at the moment.
No criticism towards anyone because I can see how the anticipation can be frustrating at times as well.
I thought of the Beaver for Canadian Pacific
A Ford Tractor dealer would be cool ! with a loading ramp !
NO ONE will guess this one !!! ….LOL.....
If anyone can claim that Menards drags out the suspense, do you purchase any non-Menards O-gauge new releases, e.g., Lionel, MTH, Atlas, etc. Yea, Menards does string us along for what seems like nearly a month (but usually closer to a week or so). And then how long do we wait for it to be available to have added to our railroad? Usually it's just the shipping time. What other O-gauge products string us ago these unbearable wait times.
I lost count how long I have been waiting for a Lionel wood chip hopper. It's definitely into the years category.

The point is not the waiting time for the product. When you pre-order you know what you are getting. When you lend clues to what you are going to produce in the future, that is not nearly the same. I think that Menards is very good. Many of their buildings on my layout. I love Menards almost as much as I love my wife (almost).
I'm not going to get into who is better or worse. All have their ways of doing business. None perfect.
I will say as a business owner, kudos to Menards in controlling their marketing cost on their railroad products. Obviously very effective.
Last but least, my guess is a Ford Dealership or flat cars with the tractors. We haven't had a new Ford dealership for a while. It seems that Ford Licensing is fairly reasonable given the amount of Ford Dealership buildings offered y various manufacturers. Also a ton of fords for diecast.

Is a link that I found where Kingsford Charcoal was using an old Ford factory to make briquettes. Are we getting warm?

@cabinet Bob, regardless of your Santa status, aren't us train boys and gals here on the nice list and getting all sorts of train items under the tree?

If my brain is working, that's a Ford badge. 1953 Ford Coupe?
The streamlined CANADIAN came oit in 1955. I do not think.the beaver is in the hunt.
Its A Brewery! You silly folks!
Ahh! Back to that are we?
What became known as the “Kingsford Charcoal Factory” formerly Ford Charcoal. Transitioned in early 50s. That pretty cool. Already have the beer. Now coal for the 🍔
Shaped a whole lot like the hood emblems on these Denver Diecast 1953 Ford pickups that I just "picked up" today at Menard's, for $2.99 each. Shown are 4 of the available 6 schemes. By doing some wheelbase measuring, calculating, and some F1 research on google, I confirmed that these are a true 1/48 scale.
So my guess is (drum roll, please)..................................................
A brand new Ford truck brewery and charcoal briquette sales emporium complete with light-up Ford emblem sign on top of the building, and featuring Ike, Queen Lizzy, and Salk doing the ribbon cutting (batteries not included)!
Am I close?

Now that's cheating.
I was hoping for several 53 Ford pickups parked at a Dog n Suds Drive in. Dog n Suds started in 1953.

One decorated for Ford Tractors would have been great.
The Ford trucks would look great on any layout.
For that price you could buy the whole lot smash them up weather them and have a Ford junk yard. Roo
Mark,
Piggly Wiggly, Red Owl, and Sprechers!
Thank You!

Received my four non lighted trucks this morning and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. At $2.66 ea you can't beat them. The only thing I don't like is the simulated wood plank bed but for the price I'll get over that. I'm ordering 4 more today.
