L bet I know the first guess......and it involves beer....
A drunk rat coming out of the brewery !
There you go, the BREWERY is coming! I know, cause I have been where the mouse is now!
The Flying Elephant brewery!
The circus must be in town ...
PRRMP54 posted:More wasted bandwidth.
No problem.......they make more bandwidth a day than we can use.......and it's low calorie.......so enjoy!!!
Quick to open the peanut gallery I see.
Theater.
Marketing crossover ?? 😯
Dairy delivery truck.
What, me worry?
I will say a winery instead of a brewery.
Or maybe a liquer distribution center/ warehouse.
A circus tent With Dumbo flying around
Car Wash
If the post didn't specify "O Gauge", then I might guess an N Gauge (mouse sized) Brewery.
Budweiser or Miller's Beer tank cars
Bill
Distillery
I'll go with Dad! He never fails to lead me astray! LOL
A brewery? A-BREWERY?
oh, please, a brewery, not a bar.....
We have to talk. I keep hoping for industrial buildings, modular steel mills, factories and waterfronts...and we get Rodentia inebriata. Oy.
Drive in movie with a movie showing on the screen. ....Paul
Mark, Are there any Menards stores that stock train stuff year round and, if so, where are they?
RJR, every Menards stock some train stuff year round, its just put up on there second level where they store some of there seasonal stuff! I found out the hard way and Mark helped out very fast.
I went to see my in-laws in North Dakota and from Washington State that is the closest Menards. I went there and one employee told me they put them away for storage, Needless to say I was a little PO'ed cause the store inventory said it was in stock. I made a comment on here and Mark seen it. Low and behold the train stuff was out where it was spose to be kept off season and I was able to get some rail cars, and a few buildings!
Mark and Menards really take care of there train people along with all there other customers!
Hey look at all the folks jumping on the BREWERY Band Wagon! I wish to welcome you all and hope you will stay and keep the faith if its not a BREWERY!
Wild Mary, I am counting on you to be here when its reviled ! LOL
A swiss cheese factory. If they build a Brewery, what would be left to ask for???
Thanks Mike. Only time I visit a Menards is when we drive from VA to Kansas to visit a son. I haven't done that in over a year, and last time the two Menards we stopped at (Indiana & Sedalia MO) said we don't have trains in the summer.
A aquarium car
If you know when your going call ahead and also let Mark from Menards know! He has strong ties and can pull a lot of strings! The man has power not seen by many!

Biggest rats I've ever seen can be found in these very types areas...Ya never know
It could be a detergent factory....or a soap house.
Semi-useless fact, industrial rendering for soap tallow is one of the more "pungent" odors on earth;"hot decay soup".
It's smell attracts plenty of wildlife, rats, squirrel, to ferel cats and occasionally dogs...who do get in to lick at fats sometimes. They also fall into cook vats on occasion and dissolved unoticed, making soap in early vs wrecking if a filtered batch.
Smells carry for miles sometimes. Empoyees, the stench permeates everything, needing special chemical detergents and boiling water to remove the stench from equipment, cloths, and near that on your person. Fish mongers & waste management have it made. . Think twice before you build homes, inn, or food too close . 😤 😨 🤢😯😝🤧😷
Hey, that all seems metaphorically and/or procedurally kinda parallel to production or use or consumtion of sumpthin' familiar... 🤔
....ah... of course..beer & brewerys 😆
Its going to be a Dance Hall with Lawrence Welk and his TV show family. The band and singers will be doing Tiny Bubbles.

Rob, I agree, plus its even better when you stumble upon them! LOL
I can't wait to see how the bubble's will burst on the next teaser !
Well dad, neither can I. I can only hope that someday I will get the teaser right instead of wishful thinking. Speaking of wishful I see they are offering the lighted truck again free with a 19.99 order. I sure wish they would make those trucks unlighted. I would buy a ton of them. I even would see if I could shorten the chasis to make it a semi cab for a trailer.......... By the way dad I got my hotel reservations in for the Menards show in July. Staying at the Baymont this time. Hope to catch you there. Also make the other sons a little jealous LOL..................Paul
Still waiting !!!!
Scale mousetrap ….
Have a cold one: The O gauge Sprecher Brewery from Menards
The basics: The Sprecher brewery is a compact, multi-story industrial building measuring 9-1/2 inches wide, 11 inches deep, and 13-1/2 inches tall. The model has interior and exterior LED lighting and a multi-colored Sprecher electronic sign with a sequential lighting pattern. The loading dock features three workers, hand-trucks, beer kegs, and beer cases.
For illumination, the factory requires a Menards 4.5 volt power supply, Menards SKU# 279-4061, 279-4062, or 279-4050. You may wish to consider the 8- or 9-piece Plug & Play accessory kits (SKU# 279-4035, 4681) and to serve multiple structures and vehicles. All are available separately.
Why you need this: Wisconsin knows beer, and for many decades, Milwaukee staked its claim as America’s beer capitol. Randy Sprecher began his journey in small batch brewing in California in the 1970s. He was hired by Pabst to become Supervisor of Brewing Operations at the Pabst complex in Milwaukee. In 1984 when he was downsized, he struck out on his own and established his own beer brand.
He leased a three story industrial building in Milwaukee, and later built a brewery of his own in 1993. The family of Sprecher beverages has expanded to include regular and seasonal beers, hard sodas, ciders, and nine types of regular and seasonal soft drinks. The brewery has become a tourist destination.
The model is a compact four-story design, with a shipping dock and office door on the first floor, large industrial-style windows on the upper floors. The gem is a dazzling Sprecher logo that combines colors with a design evoking the firm’s German brewing heritage.
The paint is a sedated gray and tan color scheme.
The first floor loading dock has three workers, three beer kegs, three beer cases, and Jack, who is making sure the employees don’t take all of the free samples! The roof of the second floor has three large pipes running up and into the third level, just behind the sign. The roof of the third level has a raised edge, giving it a classic architectural look. You’ll also find HVAC equipment, and a water tank with a flashing red LED. The roof of the fourth floor is flat and calls out for personalization with workers or signage.
The back of the building has a brick wall and includes the innovative "tunnel insert" that can be removed for a train to run through.
O gauge hobbyists have been calling for a brewery and Menards has delivered one. The building has personality, and it carries with it a story affirming that you can still think up a great idea, and create and sell a quality product. Whether or it’s lager or cherry soda is up to you. Make room on your layout for this one!
Menard's is crushing it. Their marketing efforts within this forum are way more compelling than flipping through a catalog published by the "big guys"
YAHOO! A BREWERY!
IT's A BREWERY!
Menard's is far more responsive to customer's wants, requests, than the big boys seem to be.
HOT Damm! Keep the faith and things do come true! This is for sure one I have to have on my layout! Thank you so much Menards and a huge thanks to MARK! You guys rock!
I guess the old saying is right. Good things come to those who wait and wait and wait LOL. "GREAT JOB" Menards, Mark, crew and Bob......Paul 2
Nice brewery, may be a must have.
Dave
I was right...kinda!! If I can find room I WILL have to have this one.....GREAT building!!!
Now you can see why the other companies Brewery was canceled.
I love it. Nice job.
Looks like I'm going to have to make room for a Brewery!!!!
Thank God I have a perfect place held back for this... Great Job Mark and Crew ! Also , with the free Truck, a 29.99 value, this brings the price down to 70.00. Where can you get a better deal than this. If your ever in a Menards store try out Sprecher's Root Beer, Its GREAT !
Should be a huge seller for Menards. Will need a few Sprecher reefers for the brewery.
I think it would be better if it was a national brand, Miller, Bud, ... stugotts...

It's ROOT BEER.....or that is their most famous product......good stuff too!

I do like root beer. Hires, Stewarts, it is all good, I never drank a root beer that was bad.
Very nice! 👍 🍺
And the whole forum rejoices! Definitely might be adding this.
Customize a couple billboard boxcars, get a couple truck and trailers with Sprecher logos. Put a siding into the building for loading. What more would one want? I'm in.
There was an MTH brewery; I have one on my layout, though it has been re-purposed from brewery to more foundry/industrial (see - yes, that's what we actually need).
Well there you go, boys!! I hope Jack hasn't been licking up any excess spillage!!
Mark,
Does it have a secondary barrel connection inside for those that want to hide the power wire and bring it up from underneath ?
Just checking.

It does, indeed!
Thank you,

I wanted to mention that Sprecher also makes small batch soft drinks including the most delicious root beer that I have ever put a lip to.
Mark, Does it have a light dimming knob so the lights are not on full brightness all the time?
Great building! Thanks
Mark,
I remember suggesting a Sprechers Brewery a while back. Again You and Menards delivered. I am speechless. Now a few Sprecher delivery trucks, reefers, etc will really bring this building to life!
Gru may have his minions, Randy has one thing better...Griffins!!!!!
Ordering this pronto.
Ken
OK my turn. Goodyear tire plant, but will settle for a Medline (ILL. Co.) Distribution center.
Alright!!! About time!
"Hi I am Jim's daughter and you did a amazing job and I am 7 years old."
So there you have it, guys!
"I'm totally underwhelmed. After waiting all this time this is the best Menards could come up with?"
I have to applaud Menard's for the additions they have contributed to this hobby in the way of rolling stock and buildings. With that said, I know you can't please everyone with each new release and I wish them the best with this offering but I will pass this on this round.
Sprecher Root Beer makes for a great Black Cow, by the way.
Great job Mark! I give you credit for designing a brewery that can fit into many eras in order to appeal to most everyone.
I wasn’t in the market for a brewery and I’m out of space, but it looks so great that I’m going to buy one anyway. I can put it on my desk next to my Menard’s parking garage until I can figure out how to reconfigure everything.
Keep up the good work and thanks for all of Menards’ contributions to the hobby.
Delivery trucks and reefers. Pretty please. I’ll buy them regardless of whether I kind find space for the Sprecher brewery on my future larger layout, which already will be dominated by Menards’ offerings.
Atlas WAS making only models of legit reefers...was there a legit Sprecher beer reefer? No fantasy cars desired.
Cool building......Now, hoping Menards comes thru with a large, weathered, coal processing facility like this size

Yes there was, but nothing wrong with fantasy cars regardless — especially for those who enjoy living in Menardsville, where flying saucers steal cows and the fun of toy trains continues on three rails.
AWESOME!!!!! Another GOTTA HAVE building!!! Thanks Menards !!! Now how about a modern Menards ???

I knew this was going to happen. There are so many different ways to make a brewery and I knew it wouldn't please everyone. Just look at all the different styles of breweries across the Department 56 and Lemax lines. However, don't put it past Menards to make another brewery just like they've made multiple train stations, barns, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they made a brewery tap house with tables, etc like are so popular today.

Gee, just in time!
Nice, eh Poppa Steve? 😉
Mike very nice tank farm.
Mark, thanks for listening. I'm not from the mid-west so I'm unfamiliar with Sprechers. The brewery is nice, I would like it more generic, I would hate to have to lose the sign.

Good to hear - I can order again - our laws are not unique - they are created & become law by "good ball liberals".
I'm going to have to order this one. Big fan of their Special Amber beer. On the tour they explain that they got into sodas to fill the Friday schedule. It takes 2 days to make beer leaving Friday open. Therefore they make delicious sodas as well, using much of the same equipment. All of the sodas have what I would call a boosted flavor punch above the norm by national brands.

Miller still brews beer in Milwaukee.
That doesn’t affect Jack, who lives in Eau Claire.
Not known for my patience, l have long since bashed a period brewery, but hope Menard's beats me to a meat packing house, although, with stock pen, that might be too big...
Still hoping for a large footprint, weathered, coal loading building from Menards ...I think my wish has fallen on deaf ears.
How about some buildings and cars from the 1900 to 1930.
