What is a Team Track?
Team Tracks are small siding or spur track for the use of local merchants, manufacturers, farmers, and other small businesses not directly served by a railroad. Because of their awesomeness and versatility, most types of freight cars can be on/offloaded at a team track. Even passenger train head-end equipment and railroad maintenance-of-way might occasionally be found on a team track.
What if I Don't Have a Team Track?
No worries, with just a little awesomeness, any bit of track will do.
- Create a temporary loading/unloading scene along any stretch of your layout.
- Take a picture to post here.
- Clear the track and your railroad is back in action.
You can also just stop in to check out the other team tracks.
What if I don't have awesome scenery?
Every level of model railroader is welcome on the Team Track.
