Maybe a quick email to Mike Reagan might answer this question for you. I noticed the coal load in the S3 was different than what was being used previously in the scale Berks.

I had a slight bare-spot in one of my Berks. I used needle nose to harvest a few pieces of coal from other high spots in the bunker, then glued them down to cover the bare-spot. Hope this helps.
