My transformer is Lionel KW. I would like all my accessories to be powered when I turn on transformer. Can a single wire be connected to the 14 volt post to one side of terminal block and feeder wires off the other side of terminal block to my accessories ? Or do I have to run a wire from 14 volt post to each connection on one side of terminal block and do the same on other side of block to each accessory. Are there any specific wire blocks designed for this ?  Any diagrams or instructions or advice would be greatly appreciated. I hope I did not make my question to confusing.

Thank You

You might find this helpful.

These barriers strips with jumps offer you great flexibility as you can cut the jumper to suit your needs. Solderless wire connectors are not required.

The larger problem is that if you are using the KW for trains too, there is no 14 volt fixed post that shares a common with track voltage.

The "C" post will provide 6 volts, the "D" post 20 volts.

If you want to set up an independent 14 volt circuit for accessories, like lights, which share no connection with the rest of the layout, then "C" & "D" will work just fine, but the accessories must be connected to both using barrier strips or terminal bars as referenced above for each leg("C" & "D").

Under this "Electric Forum"  "Featured Topics" see ELECTRICAL REFERENCE MATERIALS & MANUALS.  About half way down, see booklet "Lionel Trains and Accessories".  That booklet will answer lots of questions.  Click on "1954 issue How to Operate Lionel Trains and Accessories" at the bottom of the blue box to download.   It takes a while to download the pdf file.  See Page 12.   A terminal strip would be placed between the transformer outputs and wires.  Add terminal strips in the line as needed.
