Testing Lionel Horn Relay

I use an old DC transformer from an Ho train I had laying around. Put positive on coil and ground negative side coil should engage. Disengage when you take power away. When coil is engaged check contacts with meter make sure you have continunity for the AC side. You could also put DC on the pick up roller and watch coil to see if it engages
