kranky, you can't find a better forum for help on any issue with model trains; the fellas on this site helped me immensely thru my fixes to my 2014 Lionel Big Boy from testing electronic components to soldering to buying micro screws; they stayed patient and helpful to the end. There was even help from one of the lead engineers Jon Zahornacky retired from Lionel.
