I visited with the count Count Giasanti Coluzzi Twice during my Wall Street business trips to my Geneva Office. I would take the fast train from Geneva Friday afternoon and the Count would pick me up from the station and we would lunch at a bistro of his picking. He refused to let me pay even though I was going to business expense.
We would spend the next two hours talking model cars and gauge 1 trains. We both collected Märklin and JEP and Le Jouet model cars. Fulgurex was an Aster dealer. So I bought the Grasshopper and the Blue Mallard from him as well as a bunch of model cars. He also commissioned a line of Large flashy cartoon- like cars. I should have bought one . He only had four or five made.
He was quite upset when I was thinning out my model car collection and sold a couple of cars I bought from him at Phillips Auction house; London. But on my second visit, we had lunch together and talked more toys and took some more home that I still have today.
