The "Encourage Others Challenge": Post a picture of your layout...how many will post???

For those who think they don't have room for a layout I offer these...

This is my current O-27 layout on a door. I added 1-1/2" strips on each side for a 39" x 80" overall size.

This was from my old 48" x 48" On30 layout...

Some photos from April when I posted my mini tribute on Conrail's anniversary....

My 11' X 14' layout is still a work in progress; slowly getting some "scenery" in place. Table height is 48" with a duck-under along the long side. Basically a running loop with passing sidings + a loop for my "S" gauge items to strut their stuff... Maximum 0-99 on the outer loop, minimum 0-72 on the inner passing siding.

here's my 8x16 layout. I think the only wood I had to buy was one sheet of plywood. all else came from scraps at work,etc. and the 30"x7 trainyard.

Lots of fantastic layouts out there.  The one that I'm taken back with is from Bryan in Ohio!!!  Wow!  what a room, that is huge.  Is that a basement?

FANTASTIC PARTICIPATION guys!!  Thanks so much...lets keep this going!  Even if you have posted a picture(s), don't let that stop you taking more and new pictures.  Close ups of details, different angles...heck, use your mini-drone and take some fly over pics and videos!!..LOL!!  Lets inspire each other!

Wow, Now this is a Really Wonderful Thread!  Adman, Your Layout is Amazing. Also, there are many really Unique Layouts pictured from the Forum group. I have found many neat ideas from the pictures....WOW. Thank You.

Very basic but here it is. 

Beautiful layouts guys....we are already seeing some folks stating that they appreciate the pictures!!  These pictures show all the ways that one can enjoy our trains.  It doesn't matter if you have a "carpet central" or a basement empire!!  Lets make a point of helping others through our pictures...remember the saying "pictures speak a thousand words"!!

TONKANUT...That layout is super awesome!!!  So many of you are blessed to live in a part of this great land where basements are the norm.  I greatly envy all of you will a basement.  It is also clear that many of you are what I would call "master builders."  It is with great awe that I marvel over the photos of your layouts...a big pat on the back to you all.

These are from my recently dismantled 6x9 layout. We moved about a month ago so I haven had a layout for about 6 weeks and it will be a few months before I can start on a new one.

Thanks. Nice to see what can be done with what is probably the average size layout. Inspiration to finish my granddaughters instead of working on my own everyday.

Every one of the layouts posted are wonderful and very inspiring.  I continue to get great ideas and wonderful information every time that I visit our OGR Forums.

I have attached a .pdf file showing my permanent Christmas layout (which still needs to have backgrounds added) and a few progress photo of my currently in-work 5X10 layout that will be based on 1957 America.  Country Joe's 6X9 layout really shows the benefit of the additional one foot in layout width.  I was limited to the 5 foot width to maintain access to my completed corner Christmas layout.

Thanks to everyone for sharing their layout photos.

Hey OGR Members, I'm not ready to introduce my layout to the Forum as of yet, but this post is definitely inspirational and if I could throw in a photo to provide additional incentive to someone, I hope my layout in it's embryo stage, (12'x30') will help.  i'm hoping there are more contributions, I could use the ideas.

Here is my 7' x 16'  upper room layout.  I am currently putting carpet on it.  Yes, I should have done the carpet first, but that's too easy.

Never suspected when I retired I'd have sooooo much fun  pursuing  this hobby.  Much to do, but  here's current state of my 7x15  layout. I hope  to  make room to add either a turntable (preferred) or a transfer table to the industrial side of the layout by expanding  2.5'  more...three if I loose weight!   Also planning an upper level, anchored on two sides  with  and elevated track connecting them....phew, I'm tired just  typing all that I intend to do. Thanks for looking.

Back in March of last year I had a resurgence in room construction enthusiasm and took up where I had left off in 2007.  Most of the initial work involved accessing the basic attic by building new stairs, starting in the basement.  With the preliminaries over, here's a shot of what I began with 18 months ago.
