It is a very nice shot! I love the rail/timber support wall. This detail is not very often modeled. The thing I would question is that steel girders do not need supports in the middle and would rest on bridge shoes on top of stone or concrete supports. Glad you posted the photo. nw2124

nw2124, There is a prototype for everything lol, the location on the layout is loosely modeled after this photo:

This is the only pic I have of the bridge and I had to do some guessing, but I just want the feel of it. I still have a lot to do to the scene. The rail is scrap code 125 and 100 with the holes drilled in it. I used my home made ties for the retaining wall and some strip wood for the other areas. The Trestle is made up from 5/16ths rd. stock.
yurbobuick6: I cant remember what # OST mag that the GP10 was in. I know its in the 50's. Send me an email and I can get you some photos if you like.

Thanks guys!
Patrick,
Whoever put down this road in this photo forgot to weather it just a bit. It looks like they just opened the package and unrolled the asphalt roadway. Wink, Malcolm

Patrick,

Where was the photo taken? I have a lot of pics of the GP10 taken in Pottstown Pa. and the GP15's on the old line that went from Pheonixville to Frazier delivering corn syrup to a facility that is now gone.
