Wow Alex making good progress! Keep chugging along! (No pun intended lol, or is there 😂). You beat me to laying track but I’m getting there. Keep it up!

Gunnerjohn, thanks for your answer re wiring for DCS & Legacy. May I ask you a few more questions? If I should move this thread, please direct me as to where. I’m rather inexperienced with the forum.

I'd suggest just starting a new thread, probably in Lionel TMCC, LEGACY and ERR would be a good place.

Hey Ben, I think  maybe you had this engine in mind......

OMG Paul  Not the Kryptonite   Give me a Jersey central or long island with those beautiful beer cars  I would even take a C&O or B&O

Alex  I am very happy that you have a layout back  I have one question  Is the scenery refrigerator close by

OK- so inquiring minds want to know.......why do you store your scenery materials in a refrigerator??????

Nice progress on the layout Alex.

HELLO EVERYONE, i thank you all for the very kind comments, I'm actually having a blast building this. Carpentry comes quite easy for me , from when i was around 9 years old my father and uncle started teaching me. They were two master carpenter's, they taught me well.

I don't even know how my my toaster works, which is why I have green felt on a table and a toy train layout! But I sure do love what you're doing Alex, the skill it displays, the philosophy of simply running the trains--and being a Brooklyn College man for a time--the Brooklyn accent.

Thanks for sharing. It's a tonic for my blood pressure.
