This turned into some great thread LOL !

I know Ben for many many years, anytime I'm around him we are laughing our heads off. He knows how to get everyone going. Many of the lines we quote are from the best show ever on TV, the one and only Honeymooners. If anyone remembers one episode was about a "train ride " to the Racoon convention, One of the funniest episodes.

I thank you all for your kind words and input, Alex

Strummer, where in Maine did you live?

"DownEast": Jonesport, specifically. Very pretty place, but (I think) a harsh environment. Bitter cold winters and in the summer months the state population rises expedientially by the gazillions (sp?) of black flies, mosquitoes and " no see ums". The Oregon Coast seems tame by comparison. ❤️🙂

My brother, who has zero interest in trains, still calls Maine his home. He lives near Bath...

I appreciate the thread drift on this one...😁

Ah, Ben is a riot. I know when we all were at the 50TH Anniversary party for OGR, he showed me around the control area up top and we laughed a few times. He always has a brilliant smile on his face out of the times I've seen him at York(OGR Dinner at Quaker Steak).

Honeymooners, ah yes. Used to watch the reruns before watching Star Trek in the summer months off from school. My cousin Andrew used to come out from the city here to NJ and watch episodes of the Honeymooners way back when. From what I was told by my oldest brother and older sister, the two of them would be splitting at the sides from Ralph and Norton's antics. Great memories.
