Are you here? I had this posted on the other thread but someone deleted it I guess because of my . weird sense of humour, (leaks and is ugly). If you only knew how much I'd love to be on the engine.

No, I was not there, nor on that trip. That was in 1981, when 3985 was still a coal burner, enroute to the grand opening of the California State Railroad Museum. I was on the SP 4449, enroute to the same event.
