We are four weeks away!
It is time to announce the biannual Thursday morning pre-York breakfast.
April 19, at the Round-the-Clock Diner, just east of the intersection of Route 30 and Interstate 83.

All are invited!
I will put a reservation under my name and the diner graciously segregates about 6 to 8 tables(or more if we need it).
We start arriving at about 730 and usually leave to get to the fairgrounds around 10-1030.

This is a great time to meet all your friends and acquaintances from around the country.
York first timer? Traveling alone or in just a small group? Come and join your fellow York adventurers.

Put a face with a name. Come share your stories for the last few months. Make new friends. It's always a great time.

Just leave your name in this thread so I can get a headcount for the diner.

Peter, I think I will be making a day trip to York this spring, probably Thursday.  If I can get rolling early enough, I'll be at breakfast, though may get there late.

We are dropping a good bit of money into two ACL operations for the little dog who likes to bark at my trains.  Therefore, I thought I may not go to York at all, but registered anyway.  I now have a Pick-Up-At-York deal to complete, and am going to list a few more items today.

Here is the poor pooch, who probably hurt the ACLs jumping off that couch.

Folks - I will miss breakfast this time around. My son came home today and informed me he had been named his high school's student of the month for April for the sophomore class.  Turns out there's a celebratory  breakfast with the faculty at 7:00 am on the 19th so obviously I will be attending that before heading to the meet. I'll miss everyone but hopefully will see many of you around the fairgrounds.

Peter, I am a proud member of the NJHR and have been a proud wearer of the Trainstock hat for years. This year, however, I will be wearing a Philadelphia Eagles hat. The first professional football game I ever attended was the 1960 NFL Championship. The Eagles beat the Packers. Its been a long time.

Gerry.....I know how proud you must be......the Eagles are are great "feel good" Story.

I think Philly has the best sports stadium set up with everything in South Philly, easily accessible by the Broad Street subway.

See you soon,

Peter

BTW, I've been wearing my Villanova hat lately!

(instead of my RR hats)
