At a model train show, I recently bought a ticket dater, but it of course lacks the ribbon:

I thinks 1.5" ribbons would work for this, like a typewriter one. I did an internet search but turned up nothing that might be used in its stead. Does anyone else know of a source of something that would work for this? This is what it should be like with a ribbon in place:

I could get a small stamp and ink the numbers each time I use it, but it'd be much better if I had something that required less hand-on work (and would be a lot less messy).

Also, This thing took a square die of some kind. Does anyone know what those were officially called? I used to se them on eBay all the time but couldn't search for one (I saw one for my hometown depot a couple of years ago but it went for way into 3-digits, and I couldn't justify that much, darn it).
