As I live in Arizona, we are not on Daylight savings Time, so we are out of sync with the software for knowing what time zone we are in, so I get a red banner across the top of my screen every time log on. Can it be tweaked so Arizona doesn't get flagged?

That will be all fixed in just under 27 hours from now(11:20pm EDT at this writing).

Unfortunately, different parts of Arizona are in different time zones for only part of the year. As of 11/4 2:00am the whole state will once again all be in the same.
I have been getting that red time zone banner at the top of my OGR screen for months now. Ever since we took a trip to South Dakota last summer, it has been showing up. I have made the proper changes, but the darn thing still will not go away. So, I just live with it.
Alan, I have done just that over the past 9 months several times, it always comes back as a time zone conflict, so I guess I'll just live with it.
I also seem to remember one time I changed it in the orgforum somehow and the problem went away and never returned!
Are you in Arizona Alan? I had no problem when living in Washington State, only here.
The red time zone banner is not present when I use IE; but is there when using Chrome.
And I don't get the red banner when using Firefox.
late to the party but the real fix is 2 sided either stay on daylight savings time year round heck basically 3 months not on it ! or do away with it in all states it saves no money especially ac unit bills. in Arizona they tried it once after that voters gave them an ultimatum now when it comes up they vote it down. personally I don't remember seeing the red banner this year.
all the places I have been in Arizona my watch and there clocks all read the same guess ill look this up, huh the Navajo nation does observe daylight savings time never knew that but now I know!
Geez, I thought it was just me that got this. We live up in Alberta, but winter in Sedona AZ. Every time I log on I get that annoying red banner, and when I click on "update your time zone?", both show up as Mountain Standard. So I just click on Change, and it goes away til the next time I log on. So how do I get rid of this thing?

I have not seen the red time zone banner for years. I'm not sure why some of you are seeing this, but it has something to do with how you have the time zone set up on your computer.
The only time I ran into that problem was when I took my laptop with me to another state when I came back I had to change it back to NJ time zone and also had to change red banner on ogrforum then it stayed correctly never had another problem again!
email me your telephone number and I'll try to walk you threw it ok I sell computers and can help you out !
The problem is that the system has no option for states which NEVER change to daylight savings, the red banner hits when the rest of the world changes and we stay the same while the program says we should be in DST.

Whenever I leave the Pacific time zone I get the "banner" - that's 5-6 times a year.
It's not a problem - though I can understand the issue for AZ or HI residents.
Yes I see this when I travel. I was working in Holland before Christmas and it popped up then as continental time is a hour ahead of the U.K.

We drove to a different time zone last summer on vacation. Once we got back, I have never been able to get rid of that banner for more than a day. It ALWAYS comes back, whether I change it or not. Have tried both, but no results. Now, I just ignore it for the most part.
Ron,
It is NOT a time zone conflict. It is Google Chrome. Something does not compute. Switch to another browser. I use Internet /Explorer on my lap top and have no problem.

That's funny, I use Windows 10 Edge browser, , have tried Firefox and it still returns, so the glitch is not my settings. It is something all here in AZ put up with.
