I've been using Parallels via my MAC for sometime to connect to the TIU. It stopped connecting and won't automatically find the TIU now for some reason.
Any suggestions?

Did you recently update your system? Could be a change in the serial drivers.
For hardware-dependent stuff Boot Camp is usually a safer route than a virtual OS.
What version of Windows are you using. I was unable to connect using Win10 on both a Mac running Boot Camp and a PC but was able to connect using another 15 year old mac running Parallels and Win XP. If running Win10 make sure you have all the updates installed. It may be a glitch in some of the versions of Net Framework 3.5.

Mine worked when loading sound files but not when I tried to update to 6.1. Seemed to be related to the jumper on the protocast jacks. First make sure you have all the Win10 updates, then if you haven't already try a USB to 9 pin adapter rather than USB A to USB B assuming you have a ver L TIU. It was driving me nuts too.
