I have one of the older TIUs with the db9 connector. It needs to have a feature reset or a factory reset every time I turn it on to be able to run DCS locos, otherwise i just get "engine not found error"
But after doing either type of TIU reset everything works as normal, until the next time I turn it on
this TIU & remote has version 5.0
I havent tried updating to 6.0, because I thought it might fail or make it unusable
I use the same remote with two other TIUs on different layouts, thats why I didnt try deleting the TIU and adding it back
Is this a hardware failure in the TIU?
