I recently acquired a TIU and Remote, very good condition, but old. The current version on the TIU and Remote is ver. 2.3. Can I still get version 4.3 download to upgrade this TIU. I really don't want to go to 6.1, I don't use WIFI or any of the newer features. Ideally I would like this as a backup if and when I need it, without upgraded the system I am currently using. If you have a copy of DCS 4.3, you can upload it into any TIU and remote. Since you're upgrading from DS 2.x, remember to rest both devices immediately after the upgrade.
Regardless, you're always better off upgrading all of your DCS components to the latest DCS release, which is currently 6.1. This gets you bug fixes, as well as the latest features and functions.
If you're dead set on upgrading to DCS 4.3, drop an E-mail and I'll send you a copy.

Thank you very much for your reply. Obviously, it has been a long time since I've done any upgrades, but I have had very little difficulty with 4.3. I haven't followed the migration to 6.1, only because I've have heard some folks having had difficulties with 6.1. And not needing a feature enhancement, I just thought if it "ain't broke, don't fix it". Also, I vaguely recall that there was a couple of early versions that you couldn't just upgrade to the latest version without doing an intermediate upgrade. I was thinking that if you had Ver 2 you had to go to Ver 3, before going to Ver 4, or maybe it was from two to Ver 5. I looked at the MTH download page and wasn't even sure if Ver 4.3 was directly upgradable to Ver 6. So thought I would be good just staying with Ver. 4.3.
I was able to locate a Ver of 4.3, and will give it a try tomorrow.
By the way I do have your book, and I use it frequently. You really did a great service and a fantastic job putting it together! Thank You!
