i need some help here. I did a TMCC install and I was very careful when prepping all connections. I finished up and thought I would try it before putting the shell back on. It seems I cannot program it and here is a short video of what I get when powering it up.

I just used the the AC/DC commander. You are correct that I used the feature output for the interior light. According to the Commander manual it can be done. I have doubled checked all connections to make sure there isn’t anything plugged in where it should be. The last board I installed I had to use a diode somewhere should I have done the same here?

That is not the module I am using. That is for another install. I knew I must have missed a step and I did. I am out of town right now but I will let you all know later what happens. There is not enough room for the older diesel RS board I have so it will be installed in a freight car. Thanks for all the help again.

When you're asking for help, it would be nice to actually illustrate the item that you're actually asking about.  Why would you ask about one item and post shots of something totally different?

I was able to program the loco for a cab light but when the switch was set in the run position, the locomotive cab light went on when reporting up the track. I could not turn it off and the locomotive would not run. I tried conventional mode and it did not run either. Is it possible I have a bad DC commander. The couplers fired but nothing else worked. Any more suggestions?

I had a bad radio board that came with a Cruise Commander I installed earlier this year. When programmed as a diesel the headlamp would not turn off when changing directions. Verified the issue by swapping in a R4LC from a different locomotive. ERR sent me a replacement board free of charge. Things happen but ERR is good about correcting manufacturing errors.
