We're cranking through the weekend to get everything ready for the Orange Hall next week, Booth DD-11. We're right across the aisle from Angela Trotta Thomas.

Please plan to stop by to shake, howdy and talk about architectural models! We'll have the York-1 D.F. Stauffer Biscuit Co. Shadowbox, StreetScape Series 2 of six buildings (limited to a production of 10 sets), Union Pacific Trackside Warehouse WH-1 in heights from 2 to 6 stories, Cameron Apartments and Corrigan Station Shadowboxes, Cameron Apartments 6" deep buildings in 5-, 6- and 7-story heights, a couple of one-off specialty projects, the last four Manufacturing Warehouse shadowboxes from the first run, laser cut letter, window and door sets, a large selection of Rooftop Building Billboard Signs, and a couple of new ideas to chat about!

Visit www.toddarchitecturalmodels.com to see our growing selection of products. We have created a York TCA last call 10% discount code for all items in the Shop pulldown menu of the website. Enter in YORKLASTCALLF18 as the coupon code when you check out. If you are going to York, make sure to select Local Pickup in shipping method pulldown menu.

If you are not going to York and are interested in one of the Cameron Apartments buildings, reach out to me directly at the shop Saturday or Sunday. These are limited production pieces and various configurations may not be made again.

Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to seeing/meeting you next week!!!fullsizeoutput_3a9IMG_3794IMG_3928IMG_3701IMG_3661IMG_3606IMG_3411fullsizeoutput_38f

The building on the "right" of the picture is actually part of the biscuit company. We made the model in two build parts for ease of handling during production.

To clarify, the real building to the right of D.F. Stauffer was a furniture maker and is not part of this project. Historically, the Stauffer buildings were torn down and are now a parking lot and park for what became of the furniture building, a residential repurpose. You see just the left edge of it in the black and white photo.

Very interesting placement idea, Doug. Luckily, I haven’t been home to install mine yet - I have an available corner on the back wall... hummmmmm. Got to do some measuring when I get home.

So am I to understand that what will be available for sale is what appears to be two separate structures in this photo.  From your statement above, it is actually two structures sold as one, correct?

I really like the structure on the right and would purchase the whole offering as long as the two pieces can be used separately.  Can they be used separately?

If so, I would love to  purchase one.

Thanks,

Don

Here's the final shadowbox model. We look forward to displaying at York in a couple of days! J.B. will be progressing the 6" deep building version for release in about two weeks. Both the shadowbox and building version come with individual floors and ceilings. LED lights are provided for each floor. Windows can be translucent (as shown) or clear. So far, the orders for translucent glazing are 4 times more than those for clear. It may take a while, but ultimate production will be limited to 100 shadowboxes and 50 buildings.

Paul-

It was your great idea for the overhead connection bridge. It is another customer's idea to consider it use as a portal to go from one room to another.

Doug;

Hope you are having a successful York.

Just thought of a question (keep in mind this after a rather wonderful Italian dinner with my brother...) - what will the back of the 6” Stauffer building look like??? I don’t remember requesting any embellishments for the back/sides.
