Hi All  I am new to this forum as well as to the modern era of model trains.  Boxed up my O gauge Lionel trains 65 years ago.  Started following this forum about a year ago, shortly after we moved.  Now that we are fairly well situated, I thought I would try to create a new layout for my trains.  So I am looking for some guidance.

1. I am looking at some Ross products to help solve some problems I envision.  Are there any compatibility problems with Ross track and Lionel O gauge tubular track all of which was purchased in the mid 50's

2. I would like to use Ross curved switches (if they are compatible with tubular O gauge).  Are they basically trouble free or do they create problems.

I will be seeking further guidance since I feel like there is a time warp that I must contend with.

Thanks for bearing with me

Bill

Gargraves makes a O-gauge to Gargraves Track Pin, #801, that should work.

I have several RCS curved switches.  They work well but you have to fiddle with them a bit to get them to work well.  Biggest issue is the electical gaps due to dead rails within the switch which causes some engines to stall on the switch.  This can be fixed with an additional relay, but that requires more work wiring it.
