The Train Shack (1030 Hollywood Way, Burbank, 818-842-3330) is having its annual March "Super Sale" on Saturday, March 24th, and Sunday, March 25th.
This is typically a great sale by a great store. If you're in SoCal that weekend, please take the opportunity to visit the Train Shack. Plan ahead.

Every time I had to go to Los Angeles I flew into Burbank instead of LAX just to stop by "The Train Shack". Always bought at least one Atlas car. My wife bought the first train engine she ever purchased there. It was my Christmas present that year. A MTH Milwaukee Road FM switcher. It still runs great. The Shack is like an old time train store with a great layout. Love the place. Don

Was born in Burbank. Went to the train Shack as a kid, still go there as an adult-kid. Wonderful place. LOADS OF INVENTORY!
Used to work down in Burbank. Several sets wound up on the plane with me to Portland. Happy they are still in business!

Opening Day with Dodger Blue -- then followed by a stop at the Train Shack. Hard to get better than that.
