Has anyone out there built a layout that can be hoisted - via motor - to the top of their basement or garage?

I have a single car garage that is used mailnly for storage (no car). I want to raise the train board to rhe ceiling by motor, with fold-up legs for the board, so I can still use the garage. Anyone have a design for such a crazy idea?

Several people have done them, but it limits the size (and weight) of your layout. It also means you can't store locomotives and rolling stock on it.

This 8'x9' I built to fold up into its own cabinet. You can see the remote control hoist at the top. The shelf above the storage area allows enough depth for storage track and some smaller buildings.
