Ken - Thanks for all that you’re doing for the hobby and for the super fast next day shipping of my order during your St. Patrick’s Day sale!
Chris
Thank you, Ken.......looking forward to catching some of it!
Peter
Can't wait Ken. Saw the FB posting from Dorcie on the TW TrainWorx day. 🙂
going to be interesting!
😎
I have a sneaking suspicion that people are going to be especially interested in what Atlas and MTH have to say. I don’t have any insider info, it’s just a hunch.

Most likely.your "hunch" would be because its been said on some other sites that Atlas has announced that they bought MTH tooling.

None of us can stop talking about it on this forum.
Thanks Everyone! I think it will have a ton of O-citment!
The pix show Day 2,3,4. When is Day 1 ??
Looks great, Ken, but like Train Nut said, where is day 1? I am guessing there are just 3 days?
Good morning Ken. Not going to be easy for me to catch it live, I have a new job, have to travel about an hour to get home, which is right around 6 or just after. Either way, I'll catch it when I can after dinner or such. Thanks for the reminder.
Tonight At 6PM Est Make sure you tune in!
Thank you Ken for doing this. Lou is great guy. I have both of his books. Looking forward to seeing the video. Unfortunately, like Dave I can’t watch it live.
Enjoyed night one, as always. Thanks for your efforts.
Thanks Chris And Phil.
Mega Steam Smoke Fluid CEO Jeb Kriigel And TW TrainWorx Roger Farkash and Mike Reagan Will be on tonight! We'll see what crazy layout Roger and co have in store for us.
Hopefully we will hear what will happen with the MTH steam engine molds. If something was posted about them in the Atlas forum my apologies in advance.
Things I’d like to know
1. what happens to the rail king line?
2. When will/ will atlas make a full assortment of product with mth tooling (e.g. a catalog)
Live Now!
Thank you to everyone who joined! I had a great time!
Below is the link for the Angela Trotta Thomas American Made American Played Print! Only 50 made and I just place an order for 1 so 49 left! lol
Thanks, Ken! Great show as always. Lots of good information.

Unless I missed it, Not a word.....
Morning Ken Jr:
Will you accept an order from me through your web store, and post it to me here in Australia. You were very helpful with trying to track-down one of those RMT Beep motor/chassis for me in another thread posted on the OGR forum.
I am having no end of trouble trying to purchase Atlas O Gauge wire packs and spade/fork connectors, as well as MTH terminal blocks (12 & 24 ports) from a seller on the "Evil Bay". The "Bay" want to charge multiple postage on each duplicated item, and then add their "import tax" on the grand total. Postage alone was working out at over $450.00!!!!
WE here in Australia do not pay any Government "import tax" if the value of the item, or combined total of the items, does not exceed $1,000.00 Aus.
Love to hear back from you with what I need to do to get the items (have already checked-out your web shop and you have everything I need....at realistic prices) and become a regular international customer of a forum sponsor.
Peter......Buco Australia
Wow! I didn’t know we had anyone from Australia here on OGR. Wonderful!
Hi Madockawando:
Yeh.......been a member for a while now, and have got some really great advice on my MTH, Lionel, Williams, and Weaver locos right here on the forum.
Gunrunner John has been very helpful with the installation of TVS and fast blow fuses to save the boards in my many PS1 and PS2 RailKing steam and diesel loco's.
I read the forum posts every morning over a nice cup of tea!!!
Peter......on the fabulous Gold Coast (Google it) in sunny Queensland, Australia.

This sounds like your story on how your involvement in the hobby would be very interesting and deserves its own thread. Did you by chance pick up the Australian Dash-9s that came out a couple of catalogs ago?
Key take aways: Lionel vol 2 is due in July and Mth is making a new dcs command base with WiFi built in. The idea of mth continuing to making limited runs in the future was teased. Also, what is the deal with Williams? I’m newer to the hobby and almost never see a new model or paint scheme. With the uptick in demand I was expecting to hear some sort of new news. I don’t think I heard any new product news from atlas, as they seem to be still figuring things out what they’re doing with the mth tooling.
@RickO posted:Unless I missed it, Not a word.....
Right. I was dropping in and out of the presentations so may have missed some but...
Surprisingly little offered in the way of answers to the type of questions that have been posted here in recent months. Especially on the business side of things. MTH went through some new locos and rolling stock, including some special runs for dealers that many of us are already aware of. The Atlas guy did the same. No real discussion about other tooling or concrete future plans.
Both MTH and Atlas encouraged everyone to sign up for their respective email lists for future news and announcements.
Basically, I got reassured that things will carry on. Seems there will be lots of new items and surprises down the road. Kunkle always has a newly tooled car up his sleeve, LOL!
Catalogs seem like a costly thing of the past. I prefer the special runs making the product more appealing from each region or dealer! I see requested items offered by my/our requests lately using that strategy.
Last of the MTH catalog products concerning the PS3 boards explains the delays.
Thanks Ken and crew for providing us with the latest scoop!
I haven't watched the 3rd video yet but I did watch the first two and I really enjoyed them. It was great to hear Lou's view on the hobby. He is a great guy and is very entertaining and in the second video the guys from TW Trainworx and Jeb from Mega-Steam were great. They seem to be having a lot of fun at work as well as making great products. Ken, thank you again for doing this.

We have our own tinplate legend @Fatman!
Did MTH mention if their website has a link to all the current custom runs?
Thanks for the great feedback everyone! Dont Forget morning 9AM Starts our Club Layout Run!
WATCH SOME GREAT O SCALE CLUBS RUN SOME TRAINS ON THEIR MAGNIFICENT LAYOUTS!
That was outstanding! I was riveted to every minute for the full 3 hours 15 minutes. Each layout was fantastic with its own outstanding features (missile launch section for the first, elevated subway line for the second and the under layout subway for the third are just a few of them). I would have gladly paid to see this but the fact that Trainworld aired it for free just makes it that much easier for me to place an order with them for those special run lirr pieces. Also nice to see so many OGR members (current and those who have passed) get a shout out or be honored on a respective layout (Marty fitzhenry and Gunrunner John are two that come to mind from the number that were mentioned). Overall, this was superb TV. So much so, that I was going to take the boat out today but now instead, I feel that I have to work on my layout and run some trains. Thanks Trainworld!
