Trouble downloading a sound file | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

CAPPilotOGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBERDIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

There was a post last week where a forum member was having trouble downloading a sound file. I'm not sure if I'm having the same issue downloading a sound file.

First off, I have a MTH RK H10-44 (30-20377-1) that worked well when I tested it several years ago. Took it off the shelf to run and the sound started alright but soon there was intermittent short static bursts that kept getting longer until that is all that comes out of the engine. Did a feature reset and then a factory reset, and in each case the static just got worse.

I am hoping that uploading a new sound file will fix it. Getting the file is my issue.

I got to the file download page.

I click on either of the links for the sound files and it asks the product number. Put in 30-20337-1 and it takes me to the catalog page with no links to any files. I did a forum search and others seem to go straight to the files. I am using Firefox.

What am I doing wrong?

ADDED: the other functions of the engine work; turn off the sound and you would not know there is a problem. It is just the sound that is corrupted.

Right click on the PS3 icon, menus pops up, left click save link as.

First off I apologize. The correct number is 30-20337-1 for the PRR H10-44.

Here is what I get:

Everything is grayed out (no link). Is there some where else I can get this?

Okay, there are PS3 sound files for the Monon and NPR versions, so I guess I will try one of those.
