I have a trio of MTH GP38-2's and the leaf spring inserts on a few of the side frames have broken. I'd really like to avoid buying new side frames (fortunately, the 2-rail and 3-rail side frames are the same) and would rather replace them with brass inserts if I can. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I just searched and nothing came up? I figured someone like PSC or ?? would have them

Maybe I could make a simple silicone mold of a piece and cast it in plastic resin?
At a quick glance, the ones I have on my GPs and even the recent F series look the same.
If you can't find them I'll make some for you. They will have to be painted and glued on. How many do you need?
Make several impressions of the leaf spring in Klean-Klay modeling clay, then make copies with white glue, epoxy, resin, Durham's water putty...etc.
