Love starting on residential layouts! This one will be installing in San Antonio, Texas after our 5th Annual Layout Festival, April 1st.

Here is the color rendering Chief Traingineer did followed by picture of Traingineer George Watson, reviewing with client and then action shots of the fabrication CRANKING on the studio floor. Enjoy

Thanks for posting the photos.  That is so very cool.  We don't usually get to see the behind the scenes work for a professionally built layout.   I hope you can post some progress pictures along the way.

Thanks,

Ed

I'll be posting lots of in process photos...

Like how you do your presentation drawings.  Well done...........

Looks terrific.  Thanks for taking the time to share.

I'll ask the perhaps impolite question many people may be thinking about.  If it's not too impertinent, what is the approximate cost of such a finished

product? A range, if the specifics are too invasive of the client's privacy.

Indeed, it is always about our client's privacy.  However, I can let you know that each layout design is an intense collaboration between Roger Farkash and the layout owner, who typically will have a considerable number of parameters - including budget - that he is working with, and it is our goal to balance all of those objectives while creating the client's ultimate model railroading experience.   It's an investment in your passion... a hobby, no different than cars, boats, golf, horses, tennis... etc., that you will be enjoying and creating memories that will last forever. . . . Priceless!

TW TrainWorx is focused on assisting YOU with developing a plan to have YOUR trains OUT OF THEIR BOXES and RUNNING  !

This might sound crazy.  But what about a train set/bunk bed combo.  Trains on the bottom, bed on top?

Or how about layouts which fold up into the wall, like beds, or the ironing board that did not like George Jetson?

Loving your ideas!!! You never know...

Nice work. Those sawhorses reek of theatre...

Ha... keen recognition Jon! Sure enough those saw horses have held hundreds of scenery pieces in our 35 years in business.... literally, they were built in 1982 and used every day. The T W in front of TrainWorx actually stands for Theatrical Warehouse, Roger is the only original founder who stuck with it and we still are designing & building sets/scenery/props on the TW Design side of business as well design/build of some amazing train layouts - blessed for sure!

Thanks for posting! I always enjoy TW TrainWorx Layouts.

This one reminds me of a Lionel Display Layout. Compact, well-placed track, accessories and scenery.

Did Traingineers design the supports for the elevated line? They look good!

Yes we sure did - and thanks for kind words, much appreciated!
