Great job Mitch. I used to love watching him run that trolley out each day. I read the other day that Tom Hanks is going to be staring as Fred in a movie remake of the show. Should be out next year. Can't wait to see Tom's take on Mr. Rogers.

It’s titled “You Are My Friend,” and is expected Oct. 18, 2019. It’s still in pre-production at the moment.

Nice job, Mitch!  Since I model in S, finding a suitable car will be hard to do, but there's always sheet styrene!  I could mount the body on an old American Flyer handcar chassis too.  And your pdf can be shrunk down or enlarged to almost any size.  Thanks for doing that particular job.  And thanks a TON for giving me another project to do!  (just what I need...)

Looks great. My very early memories involve coming home to see the neighborhood trolley running around. That was what I lived for at such a young age.

And why the heck not?

I never knew what type of track the original trolley ran on but I'd have guessed it was 3-rail track.

Like many people who grew up with Mister Roger's Neighborhood, I'd love to have a screen-accurate copy of the trolley an would pay a bit to have one that was just like the one on the show.

FYI, when I was a kid, Fred Rogers came to my hometown for a kid's event and I got to see the man. Looked just like he did on TV and very laid back. I remember he smiled a lot even as he was being introduced and talking with the event adults. I honestly can't remember what he said or what the program was about (I'll be 50 in November and I was probably less than 10 at the time) but I can still tell you where it was and where I was sitting...

Mitch that was a wonderful job you did on the trolley.  That's not the same red used by the Razorback Traction Co. is it?

Nope.  That one, while nice,  is an HO copy of the Bachmann cable car.

OK, not sure what the problem is here.  I can see the picture as I'm writing this.  Anyone have an idea how I can fix this ?

My trolley is inspired by yours, very similar.  I used your artwork as a start and the same/similar toy shell.  Great Idea.  Thanks.  The motive force is a MTH bump and go trolley.   I added my own yellow LED/s for headlights which are DC and reversed by the bump.  My constant interior illumination is also LEDs powered by the AC rails and converted to DC.
