I finally finished up the artwork for this engine and got the decals made.  I had to cut the coal bunker down.  This started life as a P&WV mth premier that I purchased some time ago from a forum member.  It is a great little engine after a few performance modifications were made.

Thanks,

Dave

Dave, can you comment on the weathering as to what brand paint and colors you used.

Dave,

Thanks!  I have been using Tru-Color paint and thinning it with acetone.  I really like the control I have with the paint.  I thought nothing would be able to replace Flo-Quil but I like the Tru-Color better.  I start with white and then jump around from there with browns, oranges, blacks and greys.  My friend Chet mixed me up some Matrix automotive paint to match rail brown.  I go to that color often.  As you might tell from my rambling, I have no 'stock' procedure.

Dave
