Chicken Unlimited

with such a sexy/snappy name...I can't imagine why they are now defunct? Makes me think of the fictitious supermarket on Parks & Recreation, "Food & Stuff"

Great guesses everyone!

How much was the original barn from Menard's?

I believe it was $79.99 ( well this has a rotating chicken ( weather vane ) and it's been awhile since the last sold out, so I guess inflation also. Still not a bad price for what you get. I can't get to mine ( packed away ) But believe it is more red than this but not sure what else is like the old one

For all you Brewery guys...Turn this in to the "Red Barn Brewery". Just load up the silo with hops barley and malt...You're on the way to creating a great establishment.....

Actually there was a "Red Rooster Brewery" in Ohio but I envision a 1940's 2- story brick brewery with a rail dock on one side and a truck dock on the other side.  The back will have two grain silos and a wood water tank on the roof.

As nice as it is, I'm going to have to pass on this one as I already have one Barn, And my layout that I will be building is not going to be much room as it is. And I have the barn, two grandpa's houses, two power stations ( one of each type) The gas station. And I'm sure a few other buildings that aren't Menards so I just don't see putting all this on a 5' x 8' space lol. But the plan presently is ( about 3 years ) for a addition to the house for a train room and it's going to be about 14' x 25'

I was just at Menards today, my local Menards already had two in stock. I didn't realize the "chicken" on top rotated, that is a cool feature. I'll probably pick one up.

It would be cool to modify the motor for the weather vane to randomly move in either direction followed by sitting still for a period. Model wind!!!

Hmmmmmm,  that doesn't look like a brewery to me.   I already have the first offering of the barn and at this point don't believe I have room for another one. But, I do have room for a brewery.

Mark, I'm not going to bust your nads this time around but do think you really need to get this brewery thing taken care of.

Love it, definitely going on the Christmas layout! Gotta get those cows away from the door and behind fences or on a bun where they belong! Brother Mike, got horses in my barn and a Mustang in the garage! LOL Don't tell Dad!

You know Play trains, if you take Dad for a ride it could be bonus points for you! But not in the Mustang, I don't think his heart could take that much power!

Hi Dad!
