Just started to upgrade my subway cars to led. Non powered straightforward
What approach or how did you do the powered unit?
LEDs on roof or change out existing positions of lights with LEDs?
When I pulled this apart. The lights are part of the inner housing with all the electronics and then not much room between this and roof
I have been Using flat strip LEDs with a capacitor with lights fastened to roof and capacitor positioned somewhere out of sight.
Curious how others did this and how did the lighting look afterward. As with the inner plastic housing for the electronics if you mounted to the top wonder how the lighting looked. Or did you replicate the current light layout and replace with LEDs?
