I want to upgrade an ATLAS-O diesel with TAS EOB to ERR CRUISE CONTROL and ERR RAILSOUNDS 5.
Can I use the CRUISE CONTROL M? If not what components do I have to order?
What about the TAS EOB mother board?

You likely won't have room for Cruise M unless you bin the EOB board and get a TMCC Diesel motherboard from Lionel. Most will accomodate an R2LC, and both audio boards in a smaller footprint. Your other option is bin the whole EOB stuff and replace with a Cruise Commander and Railsounds board. More expensive but less hassle.

I agree with Pete with a twist. The low cost option is the full Cruise Commander and a $15 steam RS motherboard, most likely less cables to fabricate and the same price as the diesel MB and CC-M option. Of course, you're still stuck with the old RailSounds 4 sound setup, for better sound I'd also go with the ERR RailSounds Commander. That makes the upgrade even easier.
