Videos uploaded to forum no longer play on my computer

I have an older MAC computer running OS X 10.10 and up until several days ago, I could watch videos that were uploaded directly to the forum with out any trouble. Now, the picture shows as it did before but where the run time used to appear, it just shows 0:00. When I press the play arrow, nothing happens. I am still able to watch the videos that show they are from Youtube without any issues.

Has something changed that is causing this to occur?

As I understand it, Apple is no longer supporting my model which was produced in around 2011.

I am not very computer savvy, so I would appreciate any input .

I hope someone with a MAC can test and confirm this.

I wonder if it has to do with the certificate issue described here depending upon how the video is hosted and embedded especially since 10.10 is too old to receive the new certificate chain from Apples automatic updates and the timing of the expiration lines up:

Hot WaterOGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBER

I'm currently using an Apple "MacBook Air", which is 3 or 4 years old, and has the latest: macOS Catalina Version 10.15.7 operating system. With Safari, I have no problem viewing any of the members posted videos, however not being a "Digital Member", I can't view those exclusive OGR videos.
