Hello all ...vintage S scale is a bit thin on the ground ...so how about a Baldwin 2000 HP double ended unit ? June 1948 Model Craftsman ..Warren Carter pens a series of articles about building the Jersey Central Lines diesel in O scale . August 1948 a drawing in 3/16 scale appears in MC ! This scratch built model recently surfaced ..nice big Pittman motor with clutch / flywheel drive to all wheels.
Added PRR radio antenna ..dors not appear PRR ever owned any of these units .
Baldwin never won a beauty contest...great personality

......but she does run!

Oops forgot to add the 3/16" drawing ...for all of you itching to build your own .....
