Hopefully I have some useful information that you didn’t hear before.
A bit before Christmas I spoke with Ryan from Lionel. He told me they only had 2 of the shipments instead of all 6, so they can’t give it to the public until they’ve received all their shipments of trains. They were trying very hard to get it out before Christmas, but unfortunately they couldn’t, and understandably because their manufacturers in China shut down for 3 months due to COVID. But their manufacturers are open now, they’re pumping out the locomotives like never before and Ryan told me they’d most likely have it to the dealers by the end of January.
I believe TrainWorld was trying to make an educated guess on when they would receive their train shipment, but I have a feeling it’s going to be shipped to the dealers by the end of January.
