Wanted: boxcars painted for Arcade & Attica Railroad

I would paint some if someone made decals for them.

These cars were made in 2004 when Weaver had the molds. Buffalo Creek Graphics did the printing or had them printed by Weaver. They would have come in a Buffalo Creek Graphics box. I suspect they are like Hens teeth these days. Walthers used to make correct decals but I suspect you would have to have custom decals made today. Dan's Resin Casting makes decals for most all of the western New York Roads.

I dropped an email to K4 decals about producing them. Given the obscure railroad sets they have made so far, it might have a chance with them.

Some good news…Mike at K4 Decals is very interested in doing a Arcade and Attica decal set. They just need artwork drawn up and some sources for photos of the cars.

We will just have to find the correct shade of baby blue paint!

I only place I have ever seen them in O scale was at Aurora Rails in East Aurora, NY.  Unfortunately the owner Ron has passed away recently and the son is selling everything off and closing the shop. Not sure if they are still open yet.

Thank you. I know that one company (Modern Rail Decals) makes several sets of A&A decals in various scales. I personally have purchased his HO, O, and G scale decals.

I just called Aurora Rails but sadly they have nothing left for the A&A.

I believe I have a lead on B.C.G. cars #512 and 517, so I just need their car #521.
