I'm working on some custom decals for the Giraffe Express, and even got a friend of mine to design a mascot inspired by the old Lionel Lion:

GX-Gary-Logo

Any suggestions where I can get these printed up?  Ron Roberts of Rail Graphics has already demurred, saying the design's too complex for his equipment...

Thanks!

Mitch

Those have to be the best decals I have seen! Sure hope you can find a maker for them and I wish you good luck.

I don't recall exactly , but I think forum member AMCDave may have done a tutorial on how he makes decals. If not a tutorial I believe he described the process pretty well. I son'e remember the thread or exactly when I read it though, sorry. I will look around and if I find it I will add a link for you here. I really know nothing about the decal end of things.

Here's one link, but not the one I was looking for. Custom Decals (John C)

Sorry, but I can't find any of AMCDave's how to's on decals. Maybe he will see this thread and offer you some advice.

Everything was going good until you said the word white. You'll need an alps printer to print white lettering. If you could stay away from white you could easily print what you want with a standard printer on water slide decal paper. Decal paper comes in clear or white. I prefer using white decal paper with a block boarder to make it clean looking.
