Wanted: Lionel 6-27947 Reindeer Transport Car #6473-25

I hope this is not considered "bumping" after nearly two months since my first post, but I am still looking for the Lionel 6-27947 Reindeer Transport Car #6473-25 in new condition (red body with a green roof).  I had a friend look for the car at York, to no avail.

Do you know if the car came in multiple color schemes?  This isn't  red, but other than that appears to be the design you described. 

Hello Dan.  Yes, I was aware that the reindeer transport car came in other paint schemes.  The one that you have pictured is the 6-26844 that came in the Lionel 6-30011 Holiday Expansion Pack (green body and silver roof, ) and the other is the 6-26743 (all green, both body and roof).  I already own the 6-26844 and I was just looking for the variation of the red body and green roof that is the 6-27947.  I sure do appreciate you trying to help.

Every four to six week, I like to post a reminder that I am still looking for the Lionel 6-27947 Reindeer Transport Car #6473-25 in new condition; it has a red body and a green roof, with two reindeer looking out of one on the car's sides.

With York week upon us, I am posting a reminder that I am still looking for the Lionel 6-27947 Reindeer Transport Car #6473-25 in new condition.  This is the one with a red body and a green roof, and has two reindeer looking out on one of the car's sides.  I already own the 6-26844 (green body with a silver roof) and the 6-26743 (green body with a green roof).  This car was listed in the Lionel 2013 Christmas Catalog and one would think that it should not be too hard to find, but I have now been looking for nearly two years with no luck.  I should note that a Google search shows that a toy train store in Kansas has one in stock, however that proves not to be so.  I continue to hope that the OGR Forum will come through for me on this.

It has been almost a year since I last posted about wanting the Lionel 6-27947 Reindeer Transport Car #6473-25 (red body and green roof, with two reindeer looking out of one of the car's sides - 2013 Christmas Catalog) in new condition.  I have had no luck in finding one.  The closest I came was seeing one that had already sold on eBay after I returned from a three week vacation this past September . . . bummer.  As a reminder, I already own the 6-26844 (green body, silver roof), the 6-26743 (green body, green roof) and the 1928410 (Polar Express colors); and a Google search shows a train store in Kansas as having one, but no it does not.

Janet, I don’t know if you got one yet. But right now there is one on eBay $100.
