I need to replaced a broken truck. Where can I go for Weaver parts?

I was told that P&D hobby shop bought all of the parts when weaver closed it's doors.
Good, but I'm not familiar with P&D. Will you direct me to them, please?
Thanks. I called them...No luck. They purchased only "drive parts" from the Weaver stock.
If it is a streamline lightweight truck you may want to consider buying a pair from Sunset/GGD.
It may take some adapting, but you might also try some MTH separate-sale passenger trucks.
I ndon't have any Weaver cars out right now, but as I recall the truck wheelbase is a tad short. However, if the MTH trucks will work, and you can accommodate their unique mounting method, they really are beautiful and pretty inexpensive. I have several pair to go under my lightweight car kits.
Thanks, Bob! That will be my next attempt....
Phil,
I have 2 pairs of Weaver 4-wheel trucks that came off their N&W passenger cars. One set came off the observation car (one truck has the center roller and long coupler and one truck has no center roller and no coupler, both trucks have the body plate). The other set came off the baggage car (no rollers, both have long couplers, no body plates).
Looks like center-center of wheels is 7 feet (1-3/4").
It's possible to adapt a roller to a truck if you need it.
Bob D: My 21" Pennsy cars have the same size as yours. Distance from 1st axle to end of coupler is 1 3/4". I believe I could use what you have....How much?
Phil, the distance from the 1st axle to the end of the coupler on mine is 2-3/4", 1" longer than what you have.
I suppose the couplers could be swapped, don't really know. Every time I've tried to remove a coupler from a truck it's been pretty much a one way affair, something always seems to get bent or cut.
Email me and we'll talk.
Bob: 2 3/4" is correct; I erred. So you can start the emails: pgresho@gmail.com.
