Happy Halloween everyone! I recently upgraded the lighting in my engine house and did some interior detailing. After installing the LEDs the plastic piers were covered with styrene sheet. I then added some really cool work platforms from Crescent Locomotive Works and several railroad workers to finish the scene.

Happy Halloween weekend everyone!  No Halloween items here, but like Paul's post above, there's lots of Fall colors!  Here's the latest item fresh out of the "weathering shop"...an MTH CNJ caboose that matches up nicely with my recently-completed SW1 switcher...

Here's something different!!!!

We call this Korber Kit bash Kustom Kit Flat.

FOOTPRINT 22 1/4 WIDE, 3 1/2 DEEP, 18 HIGH

Fills a good amount of space, and it's a flat.

Here is my find from York.  Well, actually, I was looking for it and saw it listed in Nicholas Smith's ad, so I just sorted of headed over to his booth and bought it. Anyhow, it is a pair of PRR FA-2's that were released about a year ago.  They are pictured here at View Interlocking.  The first photo compares them to the set I purchased about 10 years ago and rarely run due to the fact that they were not painted in the proper dark Brunswick Green.  instead, they were painted in "Nauseation Green" as I call it.  They were really yuck.  Also featured a backwards "S" in the number rather than a 5 and a lovely blue headlight.  The new ones have better detailing, a white headlight (should still be yellow IMHO) and run better with Legacy rather than Odyssey which appears to have failed on the original unit.  Still suffer from gold striping rather than the correct buff and the incorrect keystone logo which features condensed lettering with serifs.  Still, a great improvement over the first release.

Just a few pictures this week! A recent pick up from the buy/sell/trade forum. The Mi-Jack is awesome!

The other photos are from a recent business trip to St. Louis. In the Kirkwood, MO train station, used by Amtrak, there is a great display of o gauge. We all know how hard it is to find the MTH Amtrak Genesis in the "wave" paint scheme. Well, here is one just sitting in case for all to enjoy! Very cool that a local hobbyist provided all of these. The station was erected by the MoPac. I also included a picture of a local business right across from the station that would be cool to model. It looked like something that could be made from an Ameritowne kit.

Also, there are some photos from the National Transportation Museum (Aero Train, Zephyr, etc.).
