I finally managed to take he tarp off my train table, set up a few building and run a train to check current

the tracks weathered the winter better this year  I had no rust spots and the little surface grim came off with a couple of strokes of the sanding bar

While my professionalism is no where near some that post on this forum I do manage to have a bit of fun running my TOY  trains

Unfortunately some of the files were  larger than permitted, I have not  quite got my filming under control  so I posted  everything on you tube

New piers in place.

Sharp, AUBV !!! Those new peers with their elevated railway are a super way to place the third-level trains right up front at eye level. I can well imagine how much your creativity is stimulated to continue with that whole scene. I envy you the fun and adventure of it all.    FrankM

P.S. Is the bridge (photo-backdrop?) I see in the distance this one I have seen in real life during a drive along Rt.11 toward Great Bend and north from Scranton, through Pennsylvania and New York?

thank you,  the walls and windows are from the kit. The metal roofing is builders in scale, which I rusted with ferric chloride. The fish is from a fishing store. The water tank and some of the other add ons are from River Leaf.  Lettering on the front is laser cut wood. The cat was also not in the kit,.,,,lol.

fire escape is Tichy kit.

Rehabbed an MTH Muni PCC this weekend (needed a missing screw replaced and a reverse switch wire resoldered)...

Yes, cat does not look impressed by the tank! 

I have tried air sprays, alarm mats, etc.  nothing deters my cat.  I am hoping once the layout is more crowded, she will find it uncomfortable.

The pictures don't do the scene justice. It is quite dramatic seeing an elevated train right at the front of the layout, with a long drop to the floor!  (The water tower needs to go.)

The bridge you are referencing is the Tunkhannock Viaduct(Nicholson bridge). This is my rendition of the bridge.

This layout also has a rendition of the Delaware Viaduct.

If I recall correctly, you travel up to Cortland County, NY. This layout is  in NE PA, if you are interested in seeing the layout in person, I can arrange that. If you haven't seen the Starrucca Viaduct in person, you should take a detour to see it.

AUBV, I'm so glad you clarified that it was your model of the viaduct I was seeing, not a photo-mural, as well as reminding me of the proper name for it and the community around it.

Once I am north of Clarks Summit, on Rt.11, the whole journey to Cortland opens up for me into being a ritual of relaxation,  esp. when I am close to the Susquehanna RR tracks and the Tioughnioga River, into which I often used to step and wade, even launching a "Rover" rubber surplus army raft, several times, years ago.

Judging from your mural, you have probably seen this "White Horse" ranch/farm or places like it up there along Rt.11, so tempting to try to model.

P.S. I had gotten out of the car to take this photo and greet the white horse, but he was, as soon became apparent, far more interested in the mares across that dirt roadway, in a corral on the other side, than in my shenanigans.
