Oh WOW !  Jim ... bucket list .. TICK!!!

What a marvellous find , you have to be ecstatic with that

I have a real mish mash of finds this week , all currently living in the Netherlands right next to the Belgian Border where I have made a new friend and he is looking for odds and sods for me to gather into a larger "Care Package" to post to me in the Southern Hemisphere

Lots of stuff still to come from Europe too as I have packages in Spain and the UK that are marooned there waiting on Plane space to Australia, which of course is uber limited due to Border Closures with Covid-19... probably 90% of mail comes into Australia on passenger flights , which of course now there are none!

So living in Holland are

A Bub Baggage wagon

Bub again

And again ...

Annnnd

As well as a "mini bucket lister " for me ... a pre-war JDN ( Distler ) 3501 locomotive and tender ... been after one for a while and this one fitted the budget ( at last ) proving good things can come to those who wait ...

En route from Krefeld, Germany...ETA 6-8 weeks, a bucket list accessory, Marklin's Leipzig Station 2037 (1919-31) in gauge 1, in all original condition.

Wow! Very impressive! Now to look for a 2037 GB station platform, or better yet, two 2037 GB station platforms and a 2078 canopied station platform to create the Leipzig complex like the one shown here. Lastly, for the uber 'full' Leipzig, add a second 2037 without the platform to the back of the complex!  You may need another room...

Hi George,

Actually a second 2037 would more accurately be placed next to the first station making the complex double wide, and the tracks would come it perpendicular to the station complex, not parallel to it, just like the real Leipzig Station. The real station was built for two different railroad companies, each one had its own complete section. Given the relative rarity of 2037 stations I doubt that I will be attempting this any time soon  The photo is a view of the Leipzig Station interior that I took during a visit two years ago.

Hi Jim,

I read that too. I got a little too creative there... Apparently, when the 2037 was produced, it was called a half-Leipzig. Marklin's reply was to buy two and remove the approach from one side of each.
