Since you started off with metal tractors, here are a couple of my modified Wilesco traction engines.

This one is Remote controlled, the video of it is a bit old, the photo below is it nowadays.

There are about a half dozen variations of the McCoy SP&S boxcar. This is the first one I've been able to get without spending a crazy amount of $$$$.

Here is a lithographed Bassett-Lowke automatic mail car in LMS livery. The car can pick-up and drop miniature mail bags with a lineside apparatus which I do not (yet) have.

So here it is just running in a train without picking-up or dropping mail bags:

Something a little different this week. Not tinplate exactly but metal. Die cast to be exact. While on vacation this week with my son home on leave from the NAVY I went into this John Deere dealership that has the usual farm equipment and some JD toys and models. They also have an extensive collection of die cast Not for sale. " Yes I did ask"  here are a few pics. Let's see your tinplate! 

 

 

Cool collection, but where's all the RED tractors??? Shoulda asked them if they had any red ones.  Even an orange one would do in a pinch.

a Forum member had a post about this Hornby car, and our oldest daughter is Marjorie, and growing up she was always looking for something with her name on it, and without much luck, so I found one for her.

The Ambassador cars by American Flyer are some of my favorite O Gauge cars.

There are a number of variations to these cars that appeared during their catalog run.

Its a lucky kid who gets a set of them today too.  

I ran them at the Historical Society last Christmas.  

They were a big hit.
