According to Trainworld, some items due this month (or past due) are pushed back til March 2023.

The 0-6-0's, VL class A and those A1 berks to name a few.

One odd thing to note. The B&A version of the berks says Oct 2023😲Maybe a misprint?

I was looking forward to my first "Legacy equipped" MTH 0-6-0.

On the VL Class A and 0-6-0 Charles Ro still shows Dec 2022.

However they also show Oct 2023 on the Berks.

Originally Trainworld had Dec on those too.

I usually go back and forth between Ro and TW to try and gauge shipment "speculation".lol!

Ro usually doesn't update until the current eta date has passed. TW must have gotten some early info.

Well that's interesting, I noticed Ro moved the ship date for the Base3 to July 2023 a month or so ago.  Ro still has that date.

But TW has it for September!

Lionel's A1 berkshire is slated for 8/23 on their webstore: https://www.lionelstore.com/Bo...CY-A1-Berkshire-1401. Charles Ro says October of next year, and Trainworld is also sayign next October.

Lionel's website is still saying the Class A's are coming later this month though: https://www.lionelstore.com/No...on-Class-A-1210-WWII. Trainworld is saying March for Class A #1210 (WW2) and Charles Ro also says later this month.

Guess I won't get my hopes up about a particular day or month

Been keeping an eye on the arrival of both of these since I have them preordered (thank you Mr Muffin's for the custom green A1!). Since I don't have a layout to run on, I have no major issue if they arrive late.

I don't think so, as stated in my B&A thread CharlesRo has the same date.   My sources are saying there's tooling issues.  If the date being that far out, lends me to think the Factory damaged the Kline tooling beyond use, and they have to come up with new dies  But and I say BUT, that's just speculation on my part.  @MrMuffin'sTrains has been radio silence on these.  Couple of emails and no response which is unlike Steve not to answer.

Maybe Steve cannot respond because they told him whatever the matter is confidential. We can speculate all day as to what, why, and when, bottom line is we are not going to get any reasonable answer until they seem it necessary.

If there is an issue with the toolings, they won't tell us and could very well scrap the project on their end cancelling all orders until a new tooling is made/acquired. I guess time will tell, I hope for the better.

Likely it is supply chain. If they had munged the tooling, it would have been evident pretty quickly. This constant pushing back of everything is indicative of the supply chain, and it isn't surprising. Put it this way, Apple has pushed Foxcon to move building their stuff out of China (whether where they move it is better or not, I leave that to time and space). Hard to tell whether it is the actual building of the units or whether it is the parts that go into them, things like chips and stuff.

I am glad I am planning to wire my layout for conventional control to start but wired where i can easily add the command base(s). I thought my layout build was slow (think the level of repairing highways), my layout may be done, wired and have scenery before the command stuff shows up at this point.

I spoke with Steve at York on this. He had just heard from Lionel they had a tooling issue and it would be summer 2023. Sounds like that date has pushed a little since then
