I was looking in K-Line archives and noticed S gauge switchers. I know some rolling stock was made but I never recall any switchers produced. I'm guessing that would have been near the end of the line for K-Line.
They were definitely both made in O gauge but your right,they both would have looked out of place on S gauge track. The Plymouth may have not looked that bad with K-Lines S gauge cars but the Porter would have looked huge unless they planed to do some new tooling.
