After a downer day. I've been working on the railroad!!! YAY!!!!                                                                      Added straights in the corners to make the loop bigger!  Made a good difference to the layout!  Moved the dead end spur I had on the outside to the inside and moved stuff around until I could make it a pass through siding instead of a spur!  I really like how it came out and was able to put my covered platforms between the tracks!

The ole Wabash Cannonball just barely fit on the siding !!!  I have room to add one more siding to that side of the layout.  Unless I decide to use that side as a yard instead of a station.   Very pleased with how it turned out!

hello MODELTRAINPARTS,  can you post some more photos of your layout please...

Brian, Here are few although my digital camera skills are poor at best. I miss my old Leica and Kodachrome.P1010387P1010388P1010382P1010386P1010380P1010380P1010385P1010385P1010389P1010387

Have I seen your layout on YOUTUBE???

Still partial to the one I found Mark. But....I guess it will depend on what you want the area below the culvert to look like too.

Bob

Bob, what I initially had in mind was something like the box culvert Paul found, but only one box not two.  I definitely like the two better than one.  However, I am leaning towards the one you found also.  It really has some character!  It all shows to go you, look at the prototype.  You will find examples that are better than what you can imagine.  Sort of like “ the truth is stranger than fiction “.

CSX AK: What a beautiful job on that service station interior!  That really looks amazing.  You have inspired me to take a closer look at my brass, Weaver, corner gas station.  I did put some details in and around it, including a 1950 Studebaker on the rack, but I'm gonna figure out how to get a door open, put a floor down and even add a few more details.  Thanx for posting the photos.

I finished assembling, painting and installing all the extra details for my garage tonight. PITA, since I had to do it all through the open bay doors.

WOW that is so cool!  I have a Menards gas station that I plan on opening up.  Already have some oil cans, car engines, and some diesel engines in O scale to go in and or around it.  Seeing your garage is a true inspiration!

Hey there Mark, I really like how the third one looks!

The votes keep coming in.  2 for number 1, 1 for number 3.

LOL

Another #1, but it needs to be double or triple the size.

Gene, Yes all three photographs need to be enlarged.  I just printed them off as they came late last night.  Thank you for voting!
