Not so cheery, Dave

Dave. Try this one. https://epokemodeller.dk/side-05-olie-og-gas

Thanks Johan!   The next question:  I see 4 listed options for each barrel selection, Example Texaco, what is the scale of #326098 Sp1 2/pkg for 78 Kr (~$11.54 USD)?  Are these 0 scale?    The other options are HO, TT, N.   Please confirm.  Thanks!   Does anyone know if similar items are available in the US market?

Cheers, Dave

Disregard Johan, just found them on eBay, 3 barrels for $3.00 plus $1.25 shipping:  O SCALE On3/On30 WISEMAN MODEL SERVICES DETAIL PARTS #O188 RESIN 55 GALLON DRUMS

Dave: Yes these metal barrels are 0-scale. I have also a Gulf gasoline pump, my friend buy them, when visited Germany.

Johan, you re giving us some great pics. I agree with Mark. BL-2 so ugly they are beautiful. And hang in there one of these days I'll remember to post a diagram of the basement layout.

LEROOF, that is edge running. Nice way to bank your curves.

Modular building proceeding. I know Bryan is way ahead of me. And no matter what Bryan puts on his modular facing me it will only be blowing in the wind through the trees. I was out today helping one of the Tuesday night guys dismantle his layout so I was busy during the day. But when I finally got home I had a bit of time before dinner to paint the small backdrop. Two colors on the sky and four colors for the backdrop of trees. Maybe after dinner I can start gluing down the foam. Tomorow is NE group breakfast and a visit to one of the members layout. Pics...............Paul 2

Channeling your inner Bob Ross?????

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Fendermain and Mark Boyce, that little saw was a neighbor's hobby saw. He gave  it to me and I originally cut brass tubing for semi scale dwarf signals I made  and an assortment of plastic and wood pieces for the float bridge I made. One can even set the angle one wants to cut.  He did not really want it back as the saw blade was not removeable or replaceable. I have done hundreds of projects with it. This one is no longer made, however one can get a very similar one at Harbor Freight. The new ones are more durable but saw blade not replaceable still.

RSJB18, Not only close to the edge, but also ON the edge!

i ran my EP 5 at a really good clip tonight, I usually don't run stuff that fast but magnatraction loves this environment and the unit train with 8 tankers and a caboose never faltered! The train leans into the turn, on edge. Exciting too!

i have never had an abrupt exit from the table with the  banked curves.

Much less messy than paint

my former catenaary poles are in a state of varying disruption. mostly dirt and broken parts. my friend Jim bought all my trains and layout stored the catenary for 15 years. never used them. so they came back to me. they require qite a bit of twhab, but I just set them up to see their old pantograph friend!

more on that as it develops.

those pantographs will once again be "up town"for business!

I am missing about 10 of these to complete all three tables.  i will ask jim to do a sweeping search.

btw:they are MTH metal telegraph poles. I think tin plate traditions type.

No better way to go uptown than that.  Looking forward to your progress. BTW what a handsome engine!!

I haven’t posted in a while on this thread, just lurking and liking. Nice work to all, it’s fun too see all of the progress.

I finally got around to mounting and beginning to wire our new control panel. Before the zw, we had RW and LW transformers. Both worked great, but the throttles operated in opposite directions - one clockwise, one counter clockwise - making it difficult to quickly shut off in an emergency. Nothing like having that ZW handle in your hand.

On the Waxhaw divisision today, we set and allighned the track and a Lionel 317 bridge for a branch of the shortline tht crosses the main line railroad and city transit line on the lower level. In my prior post , we saw the town and industries the Short line served. It has trackage rights on  Main line RR that is the upper loop. In a Union Station this Short line has a track for its line which extends into a town where there is a junction connecting this branch. Enjoy the photos. IMG_4878IMG_4879IMG_4880

Ah you youngsters... That's the year I graduated from high school.......

I was in the USAF on Okinawa.

I was 3 years old! LOL

Hi Guys, so there is a lot going on here with a lot of great work! So I handed out a lot of likes, but there are 2 things I want to comment on and I will make it up to the rest of you all next time.

Paul2, Great looking trees! When I seen them I was thinking the same thing Bob said. Bob Ross! LOL I just watched a repeat of his show the other night!

Jim, Great job on the train! I sure hope you all have a fun time in the parade today and please take some picture!

Well as for the norm lately I didn't get any train room time yesterday. While finishing up the furnace closet, the guy that I contracted to remove all my stumps showed up. Well needles to say there when the day, and today the HVAC guy is coming so who knows.

I hope you all have a great day and fun with whatever you do!

I’m like Mike today, lots of great projects everyone.  I ran the Western Maryland Scenic passenger train a few minutes yesterday like a couple days ago.  Lew, it was deja vu all over again, so check the photograph I posted then.  LOL

Im going with our older daughter and son-in-law today for them to get a few things from my parents’ house.  I have only been out of the house for Hospital and PT for 3 weeks, so we will see how I do.  I only plan to unlock and be there as an advisor.  Closing is supposed to be early December. If I’m too whipped I’ll stay home from church another Sunday.

Have a great day everyone!
